Public facilities & digital arts
From April 2 to June 30 2022
A project carried out by Art Souterrain.
Powered by the Chamber with support from the Government of Québec.
The 14th edition of the Festival Art Souterrain will highlight the work of some 40 local and international artists, selected by artist and curator Eddy Firmin and the collective of artists and curators of Intervals Collective. The program features installations, paintings, performances, videos, photographs, digital art and sculptures, grouped under the theme “Voies-Voix Résilientes” (Resilient Voices-Pathways).
“ The events of the last number of months have had a lasting impact on our societies, including the Black Lives Matter movement and, more recently, the residential schools. More than ever, diversity and inclusion are front and centre in our collective thinking. And art must be the source of a wider awareness. These themes are shaping the face of Montréal today, in a context of renewed openness toward others. ”– Art Souterrain
